Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Michelle received an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a BFA from the College for Creative Studies. She has exhibited nationally in galleries in New York, Washington D.C., Detroit, San Francisco, and abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. She maintains a studio at XO Projects Inc. in Brooklyn. She currently teaches at Pratt Institute and lectures at various institutions around the US.
