Allie Rex: Artist Biography

Allie Rex lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, she received her B.F.A. from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2002, and her M.F.A. from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2004. She has participated in several art fairs, and her work has been shown at various galleries and institutions, including the Byron C. Cohen Gallery, Kansas City, Missouri; Like the Spice Gallery, Brooklyn, New York; Goucher College Rosenberg Gallery, Baltimore, Maryland; Gild, New York, New York; the Daimler Chrysler Collection, Auburn Hills, Michigan; Cranbrook Museum of Art, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; Forum Gallery, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; Revolution Gallery, Ferndale, Michigan; Wayne State University Community Arts Gallery, Detroit, Michigan; and School 33 Art Center, Baltimore, Maryland.
